The Chesapeake Fund is being launched and directed in partnership with three organizations: Forest Trends, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and the World Resources Institute. The role of the management team is to provide technical expertise, to establish the Fund's infrastructure and accounting procedures, and to raise private investment "seed money" to initiate the Fund.
